Gloucester Airport Expansion plans - CASE Update #2

7th June 2007

1. An announcement has been made on the new Churchdown parish
council website http://www.churchdown-pc.gov.uk/index.html, in the
news/community events section :

---------------------------------------------
Airport Consultation

Monday 11th June

Drop in consultation for Runway Safety Project in conjunction with
development with the Airport.
Between 5.15pm and 8.15pm in the Parish Council Chamber at the
Churchdown Parish Council Offices Parton Road Churchdown

Members of the Gloucestershire Airport Management Team will be
available to answer questions. For further information telephone 01452
857700.
---------------------------------------------

After several months of confusion and contradictory statements and
announcements by the airport, this may be an opportunity to get some
straight answers. We are particularly concerned about opening hours,
noise, increased commercial aircraft activity and the environmental issues
surrounding the airports plans.

2. The planning applications submitted by the airport have still not been
considered by the Tewkesbury Borough Council planning committee. We
understand that this is because information was missing from the original
applications. The next planning committee meeting is scheduled for 25th
June. We will issue an update when we know the committee date.

3. Noise complaints can now be submitted online using the airports new
website. The home page is at www.gloucestershireairport.co.uk and the
noise complaint form is at :

www.gloucestershireairport.co.uk/LogComplaint.php

5. This email

People attending last year's public meeting at Chosen Hill School were
invited to leave their names and addresses so that they could be kept up-
to-date with plans to develop the airport. This email has been sent to all of
the people who left email addresses. If you would like your name removed
from the list please let me know.
